Adopt Me Trading Calculator — Is It a W, F or L?
Add what you give and what you get — the calculator totals both sides and tells you W, F or L. If the trade is off, it shows how much needs to be added.
You give
0
Hard to trade: most of this side is pets with low demand — people may not take it even at value.

W, F or L?
Add pets to both sides and the verdict shows up here.
FAIR means the sides differ by no more than 10% of the bigger side. Values are on our scale: a normal Fly Ride Frost Dragon = 100.
Recent trades
Someone sends you two pets and a potion for your one and types "huge W for you". The calculator settles it in ten seconds: it totals both sides and shows who's overpaying and by how much.
Add pets to both sides
Your side is what you give, their side is what you get. Search by name; partial spellings work.
For each pet, set the version:
- normal, neon or mega neon;
- no potion, Fly, Ride or Fly Ride.
Add the same pet again if there are several. The totals update after every change, so you can shuffle the offer until both sides line up.
Read the verdict
| Verdict | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| W (win) | You get more value than you give | Check demand on what you get, then accept |
| F (fair) | Both sides are close | Decide on demand and on who you actually want |
| L (lose) | You give more | Ask them to add, or walk away |
Next to the verdict is the gap in value. That's your answer to "how much should they add": find something about that size in the value list list and ask for it.
Check the versions before you trust the math
Most trades go wrong in the game window, not in the calculator. Before you believe the verdict, check:
- Potions. An FR pet and a no-potion pet are different numbers. No F and R badges in the window means no potions.
- Neon and mega. A neon glows, a mega neon cycles through colors. A normal pet passed off as a neon is an old scam.
- Count. Three of the same pet are three entries, not one.
Value says nothing about demand
The calculator compares numbers only. A pet with a decent value that nobody wants can sit in your inventory for weeks. If you give a high-demand pet and get an HTT (hard to trade) one, even a fair trade is a loss for you in practice.
Ask for an add with a number
"Add a little" rarely works. "You're short about one of these" does. Show the gap from the calculator — it's hard to argue with a specific figure.
Overpay is fine when you really want the pet. We've overpaid for dream pets and never regretted it. We regretted overpaying for hype that cooled off a week later.
Use the calculator for Trading Hub listings too
Since July 31, 2026 the game has a Trading Hub, where listings are visible across all servers. A listing costs 100 Bucks; two slots are free and a third costs 49 Robux. Run your listing through the calculator first: an unrealistic ask just sits there.
Remember the game has its own opinion
The game warns you when it thinks a trade is unfair: a pop-up appears and you get 15 more seconds to decide. The Trading Hub also blocks listings it sees as lopsided. Its logic is its own and won't always match our numbers.
One trap gets its own line: the "trust trade", where you hand over first and they promise to give back. It's a scam every time, even if they show you a calculator screenshot. More in Adopt Me Scams in 2026: Every Trick and How to Avoid It.
Questions
How do I check if an Adopt Me trade is fair?
Add every pet and item from both sides, set the version for each one (normal, neon or mega, and potions), and read the verdict and the gap between the totals.
What does W, F, L mean in Adopt Me?
W is a win — you get more value than you give. F is fair — both sides are close. L is a loss — you give more. People also write it as WFL or ask "w or l?".
How much should I ask them to add?
The gap the calculator shows. Find a pet or item close to that value in the value list and ask for it by name — that works far better than "add a bit".
Can I compare two pets one on one?
Yes. Put one pet on each side and the calculator shows which is worth more and by how much.
The game says my trade is unfair, but the calculator says fair. Who's right?
The game uses its own estimate, which doesn't match any value list exactly. Take the warning seriously, but the decision is yours — both players can still accept.
How many items fit in one Adopt Me trade?
The trade window has 18 slots. Ultra-rare and legendary items need a Trade License.
