Buffalo has been cheap since its 2019 release: a common pet with very low demand. It stays low because it still hatches from an egg you can buy right now, so there are plenty around.

Where it comes from

  • Buffalo is a common pet in Adopt Me.
  • Hatches fromRetired Egg · 5 % chance
  • Released on June 15, 2019.
  • In-game price: 600 bucks (Retired Egg).
  • Still obtainable in the game.
  • Can be made Neon and Mega Neon.

Hatchable means you can still get one today — Retired Egg costs 600 bucks in the game. If you want a Buffalo, open that egg instead of hunting one in trades.

In trades it's slow: demand is very low, and the price sits near Cat and Ant. A FR one is noticeably pricier than a plain no-potion Buffalo, but a Neon is cheaper than the four plain ones you'd put in.

Keep a plain no-potion Buffalo if you just want the pet — potions on it are wasted. Don't overpay for Neon or Mega; building them yourself from four is the cheaper route.
