Getting it is straightforward: 120,000 candy at the event shop, and it's still in the game. Farming that much candy is its own grind, and that keeps the price up.
Potions matter a lot: a normal FR is clearly pricier than a normal NP, so don't hold the NP version as an investment. A Neon costs less than the four normals used to make it, so crafting one isn't a win.
Value-wise it's close to Brown-Chested Pheasant and Golden Unicorn. Grab one cheap if you like the pet itself, and don't let it go for pocket change.
