Haggle hard on this one: the price looks decent for a gift, but it's tougher to move than the number suggests.

Where it comes from

  • Hermit Crab Box is a legendary gift in Adopt Me.
  • Released on June 29, 2023 during the Summer Festival 2023 event.
  • In-game price: 12,000 Beach Balls.
  • No longer obtainable in the game — only through trading.

Summer Festival 2023 is where it came from: you could buy it for 12,000 Beach Balls back then. That event is over, so the only way to get one now is a trade.

The value sits above average for gifts, yet demand is low — that's the catch. Listings disagree with each other, so offers range wildly and you can win or lose by a lot on the same box.

We'd not overpay for it just because the number looks fine. If someone wants it from you, haggle; if you're buying, aim lower than the listed price.
