Where it comes from

  • Golden Tortoise Beetle is a legendary pet in Adopt Me.
  • Released on May 24, 2024 during the Garden Hop Obby event.
  • In-game price: 6 Moles (unlock the Vault).
  • No longer obtainable in the game — only through trading.
  • Can be made Neon and Mega Neon.

Its legendary rarity makes it look valuable to newer players, but that barely affects the price. The pet came out in 2024 and is already retired, yet demand is very low. In trades it's usually an add to an offer or used for Neon crafting, not the main item.

To get it, you had to save 6 Moles and open the Vault during the Garden Hop Obby event. Now you can only get it through trading. Price-wise it's about the same as Hummingbird and Hippo, but those are retired too.

Potions change things: a normal FR is noticeably more expensive than a normal without potions. A Neon is cheaper than the four normals you'd need to make it. We'd not trade top-tier pets for it — better to keep it as an add or use it for Neon crafting.
