Where it comes from

  • Hippo is a rare pet in Adopt Me.
  • Hatches fromDanger Egg · 10 % chance
  • Released on June 8, 2023.
  • In-game price: 750 bucks (Danger Egg).
  • No longer obtainable in the game — only through trading.
  • Can be made Neon and Mega Neon.

Small change, because demand is low: buyers take a while to find and there are plenty of them around. It trades with Musk Ox and Hummingbird — all retired, none of them move a trade.

It hatched from Danger Egg from June 8, 2023, and that egg cost 750 bucks. The egg is gone now, so a new Hippo only shows up through trading.

A Fly Ride normal is worth clearly more than a normal NP — don't trade an FR one like a plain Hippo. We'd keep it as an add to your offer or save it toward a Neon, since on its own it rarely carries a deal.

Golden Tortoise Beetle and Golden Jaguar sit at a similar price. They're better as Neon projects than as the main item in a trade — the win from that is tiny.
