Where it comes from
- Kelp Hunter is an ultra-rare pet in Adopt Me.
- Hatches fromKelp Raider Box · 10 % chance
- Released on July 18, 2025 during the Summer Festival 2025 event.
- In-game price: 13,000 Doubloons (Kelp Raider Box).
- No longer obtainable in the game — only through trading.
- Can be made Neon and Mega Neon.
Ultra-rare means it hatched less often than commons but more often than legendaries. That barely helps the price: rarity doesn't carry a pet nobody asks for. Don't expect a big overpay for it.
The Kelp Hunter came from Kelp Raider Box at the Summer Festival 2025. The box cost 13,000 Doubloons in the game. You can't get it anymore — trading is the only way.
Demand is very low, so it's HTT and mostly goes in as an add. With both potions, a normal one is worth noticeably more than a normal NP, so don't swap FR for NP without a solid add. A Neon is cheaper than the four normals you'd need to make it — skip crafting and just keep the normals.
Price-wise it sits close to Magma Snail and Koi Carp, both retired too. Grab the Kelp Hunter as an add or for a neon, not as the main piece of a trade.
