Since 2020 it's been in the game, and so many have been hatched that the price dropped to pocket change. The egg is still available, so supply never runs out. Only grind for it if you want it for your collection or a neon — not as an investment.
Demand in trades is very low — people are reluctant to take it. A Fly Ride normal is noticeably pricier than a no-potion one, so if you get an FR, keep it instead of swapping for no-potion (NP). A neon is cheaper than the four normals you'd combine, so making one isn't worth it.
Value-wise it's about the same as Toucan or Shoebill, which are also worth next to nothing. Storm Condor and Sandfish are retired, but they're not far off in price either. So don't overpay.
