Adopt Me Music Codes in 2026 — Why Song IDs Don't Work
There are no working music codes in Adopt Me in 2026 — the game has nowhere to enter a song ID. Only the DJ gamepass could play custom music, and it was removed on January 6, 2022. Today, music comes from toys with built-in tunes.

Every "Adopt Me music codes 2026" list is a 2020–2021 list with a new year in the title. The game simply has no box to type a song ID into, and even Adopt Me couldn't bring one back the old way — part of the reason sits in Roblox's own rules.
Why Adopt Me music codes stopped working
Two separate things killed them. Either one would have been enough.
Only the DJ gamepass ever played custom music
DJ cost 350 Robux. With it you could search any audio in the Roblox catalog and play it on a radio, jukebox or DJ table in your house. Those were the "codes" — song IDs pasted into that search.
On January 6, 2022, DJ was removed along with the Winter Holiday 2021 event after a Roblox update broke it. Everyone who had bought it got a legendary Lavender Dragon as compensation; it came out on February 8, 2022, and trades at 0.93 today. If your Lavender Dragon didn't come from a trade, your account once had DJ.
Roblox made old audio private in March 2022
On March 22, 2022, Roblox switched audio to private by default: every new upload, plus every existing track longer than 6 seconds. A private track plays only for its owner and in experiences the owner grants access to. Roblox laid it out in its developer announcement.
For games, that means audio the game's own creator didn't upload stops playing. So even if Adopt Me added an ID box tomorrow, the songs from old lists would stay silent. What stayed public is Roblox's licensed catalog — more than 100,000 songs and as many sound effects that developers place into their own games.
Where the "2026 song codes" videos come from
They're re-uploads of old lists. Changing the year doesn't revive a 2021 ID. We wouldn't spend an evening hunting for "the one list that still works" — there isn't one.
Be careful with any "code" that asks you to visit a site, download a file or log in to Roblox somewhere. Real Adopt Me codes go into one place only: the kiosk in the Safety Hub. More on these setups in Adopt Me Scams in 2026: Every Trick and How to Avoid It.
How to play music in Adopt Me right now
You can't play your own song. You can still get sound.
Music toys for Bucks
The Camping Shop sells two toys that play music:
| Toy | Price | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Camper's Guitar | 500 Bucks | Camping Shop |
| Camper's Bongos | 200 Bucks | Camping Shop |
The tunes are built in. For a party we'd start with the bongos — two and a half times cheaper than the guitar, and both give you music. The Summer Camp 2026 Harmonica worked the same way, playing one of several tunes you couldn't choose; it cost 9,000 Acorns and left on July 24, 2026, so it's trade-only now.
Party furniture
The furniture catalog still has a Boombox for 29 Bucks, a Jukebox for 39 and a DJ Booth for 99 in the Fashion set, plus themed ones like the Pirate Jukebox, Gingerbread Jukebox and Bee-jive Jukebox. Put them wherever you host guests — room ideas are in Adopt Me Houses — Prices, House Ideas and How to Trade a House.
One more thing that's gone: the 85 Robux Discosplosion, a throwable that exploded into music and made everyone nearby dance. It left on the same day as DJ, January 6, 2022.
What Adopt Me codes actually exist
Real Adopt Me codes go into the Code Redemption Kiosk next to Agent Ruhi in the Safety Hub. They give boosts and items, not music, and only run for a limited time — from one day to a few months:
| Code | Active | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| PROUDFROG | Jun 6–19, 2026 | Proud Frog Sticker |
| 2xCOPPERKEY | Oct 18–24, 2025 | 1 hour of 2x Bucks and XP |
| AMTRUCK2023 | Sep 28, 2023 – Jan 1, 2024 | Toy Delivery Truck |
| AMCOMIC2023 | Jul 13–26, 2023 | Shadow Dragon Skateboard |
No codes are active right now. Testing a new one is easy: type it into the kiosk. If the game rejects it, it doesn't work, no matter who shared it.
Last trap: "selling a DJ pass" or "free DJ code" is a scam. The pass has been off sale since 2022 and there's no way to get it.
Questions
Are there any working Adopt Me music codes in 2026?
No. Only the DJ gamepass let you enter song IDs, and it has been off sale since January 6, 2022.
Can you play your own music in your Adopt Me house?
Not anymore. With DJ you could search any audio in the Roblox catalog and play it on a radio, jukebox or DJ table at home. That feature is gone.
What happened to the DJ gamepass?
A bug in a Roblox update broke it, so it was removed. Everyone who had bought DJ got a legendary Lavender Dragon, released on February 8, 2022.
Why don't Roblox song IDs from old videos work?
On March 22, 2022, Roblox made all uploaded audio longer than 6 seconds private. A private track only plays for its owner and in experiences the owner allows, so old ID lists are dead.
How do you play music in Adopt Me now?
With a music toy. The Camping Shop sells the Camper's Guitar for 500 Bucks and Camper's Bongos for 200. They play built-in tunes; you can't pick a song.
Are there any Adopt Me promo codes right now?
As of October 25, 2026, none are active. Codes go into the Code Redemption Kiosk in the Safety Hub; the only 2026 code so far, PROUDFROG, expired on June 19.
