Retired from the shop, the Fossil Egg is now a trade item on its own. Its price sits above average among eggs, but low demand means the value is easy to argue about.

Where it comes from

  • Fossil Egg is a legendary egg in Adopt Me.
  • Released on October 10, 2020 during the Fossil Isle Excavation event.
  • In-game price: 750 bucks.
  • No longer obtainable in the game — only through trading.

It came out in 2020, and no new ones appear since — that's where the price comes from. You can't buy it in the game anymore, only trade for it.

Hatching it is your call, but keep in mind there are twelve pets inside and the legendary chance is 5 %. The best drops are Dodo and T-Rex, both legendary.

In trades the estimates disagree a lot, so don't take the first offer. It trades close to Wrapped Doll and Gemstone Egg, while Diamond Egg is a bit cheaper. Keep it unopened — that trades better than dealing with what's inside.
