What to Spend Stars On After the Adopt Me Star Rewards Revamp

What changed on September 11, 2026

Before the revamp, Stars worked like a progress bar. You got a Star per login plus a bundle of 12 to 20 every fifth day, and unlocked rewards in a fixed order: toys, vehicles, pets, and at the end of the page a Golden Egg or Diamond Egg at 660 Stars. Then the counter reset.

Now Stars are just a currency:

• every login day gives one Star plus Bucks (25, 50, 100, 200, 300 in a five-day loop);
• you spend Stars in the Star Rewards shop on anything, in any order;
• the Golden Egg and Diamond Egg are gone, and their pets moved to the new Gemstone Egg.

When the update went live, the game claimed every old reward you'd reached and added your next three for free. If you haven't logged in since September, they're already in your inventory.

The Diamond Unicorn got left out

The only pet from the old eggs missing from the Gemstone Egg is the Diamond Unicorn. It's now trade-only, and no new ones enter the game. Current value: 0.41.

What Stars buy

The Gemstone Egg and the Amethyst Penguin

The Gemstone Egg costs 28 Stars — four weeks of logins without missing a day. It hatches in 5 tasks. Odds from the official announcement:

A 0.05% chance is one egg in two thousand on average. Two thousand eggs cost 56,000 Stars, which is 56,000 days of logging in. Hatching an Amethyst Penguin fairly is close to impossible; people trade for it. It's currently worth 48.6.

The rest of the pool is humbler. The ultra-rare Ginger Cat is worth 0.18, the legendary Golden Griffin 0.24. These pets have been handed out for Stars since 2020, and players have piles of them.

The Royal Fairytale Egg for 14 Stars

The Royal Fairytale Egg costs half as much with the same 10% legendary chance. Official odds: 40% rare, 50% ultra-rare, 10% legendary. The legendaries are Huntsman Robin and Three Blind Mice.

Compare them yourself: Huntsman Robin is 0.24, Three Blind Mice 0.25.

The egg is marked limited. One day it leaves the shop.

Where we'd spend Stars

We'd save up for eggs instead of breaking Stars on gifts and auras one at a time.

1. Compare the egg with what it hatches. Unhatched eggs trade too: a Gemstone Egg is worth 0.28, a Royal Fairytale Egg 0.13. If the egg is worth more than its average hatch, keeping it closed pays better. The average hatch value is on egg values.
2. The 5-Star Streak Saver only makes sense if you know you'll miss a day and care about the Bucks loop that peaks at 300 on day five.
3. The 20-Star 2x boost is worth it only for Admin Abuse or a neon grind, when you're sure to play the full hour.

The trap: "I'll sell you Stars"
