In trades, Frost goes for a lot: it's one of the most expensive pets, demand is high, and the price has been steady for the last month. If someone offers adds, take them — don't be shy.
Making Neons and Megas from it isn't worth it: a Neon goes for less than four regulars, and a Mega goes for less than four Neons. Keep a regular FR or NP — that's safer.
Value-wise it's around Shadow Dragon and Giraffe, though those are noticeably more expensive, while Owl is a bit cheaper. If you want to invest, Frost is a good pick, but don't trade it for small stuff.
