Where it comes from

  • Old King Coal is an uncommon pet in Adopt Me.
  • Released on December 25, 2025 during the Winter 2025 event.
  • Was given out for free (Christmas Day Admin Abuse).
  • No longer obtainable in the game — only through trading.
  • Can be made Neon and Mega Neon.

Winter 2025 handed it out for free, so there are plenty of them around. It was released on December 25, 2025. You can't get it in the game now — trade only.

Demand is low: few buyers, plenty of sellers. Its value is average among pets, and by price it's about the same as Pine Marten and Ostrich — both retired too. Don't make it the main item of an offer; grab it as an add on top of the item you actually want.

With both potions, a normal one is worth noticeably more than a normal NP. A Neon costs less than the four normals you put into it, so building the Neon yourself beats buying one ready-made in a trade. It's no longer obtainable from an egg, shop or event.
